OUR PRESIDENT’S BURDEN

Can’t sleep at night

I have lot of things to do

How I wish I can make use of voodoo.

So many meetings and decisions to make

For my country to prosper

And 88.57 million people at stake.

I made some mistakes

please bear with me

Before I fall into pieces and plea.

If there’s no such thing as to forgive and forget

Then why lovers say it’s sweeter the second time around

So let me take it over and forget about my bank account

But I can’t force everyone to release the anger away

And all I can do is to wait for my doomsday.

I love my country and my people too

So let me serve you till my term ends

And give me a chance to prove what I meant.

Sweetest Greeting

I am miles away from you

A reality I cannot undo

Despite the distance, I still love you

The only truth I can’t undo.

Without you seem to be plain Christmas

Shedding tears behind the mask

I’m longing for your presence

Because yuletide without you is a nonsense.

Christmas Carols are up in the air

But my ears do not seem to care

Santa is calling my name

But I am like numb and insane.

I am here waiting for you to come

Until the moon goes up and the sun goes down

The greatest gift I want to receive is YOU

The sweetes greeting I want to hear is “I LOVE YOU!”

CHERISHED MOMENTS

Though you love me, love is only half

Of life, and sacrifice the other part;

This unsubstantial ecstasy that shakes us now

Must finally destroy the heart

Unless it be preserved in quietness,

And so becomes a winged reward that moves

Like fate within the unexcited warm

Until it shapes it utterance and proves

The dullest hour is a part of love;

And when, at last, we scale the height that aches

Within our patient strength, we will become

A vast shore upon which a vast sea breaks.

DO WE NEED A SUPER HERO?

It’s not bad to believe some fantasies

And imitate one but don’t try to jump on high seas

A simple bravery to face calamities

Will be prefect to save some refugees.

Spiderman, Batman, Catwoman and the Incredibles (also Ben10: my favorite)

We don’t need them, if someone here will show love and respect.

Saving the world is not as hard as it sounds

All it needed was a courageous man

Who’s willing to be Superman.

If we only use our mind

All of us can be a hero in our own land

And we can recover the world the way it is

before global warming end us up.
