An Odd World

Did God created this world we’re living in?

This thing, full of terror and full of sin.

Did God gave us brains to spread darkness?

To spread diseases, death and create a mess?

God created something, something called paradise,

Isn’t He all powerful, almighty and wise?

Where is that now? Why can’t we see?

But, we do bad things, don’t we?

Kidnapping innocents is what rebels do,

Killing and abusing people, no matter who.

Demanding all the things that they want,

And then killing their victims if they can’t.

Spreading disunity among nations,

Loose threads among God’s creations,

Can’t we do anything to stop this?

To keep ourselves from falling into the abyss?

What is my role in this place called “Earth”?

What was the purpose of my birth?

Was it to live in terror, immorality and disunity?

Or to live in peace with hope, love and harmony?
